an apology if I’ve upset anyone
HELP
My briefest ever post. If I upset you with my true story a few minutes ago, A Shadow of his Former Self, I apologise. It is just a subject I feel so incredibly strongly about that I would ask all of you to pray for help for all children and adults caught up in such a situation. There are far too many cases in Britain.
AWE
I did not feel upset at all. We cannot hide ourselves from the realities of life. Perhaps the ending was a little crass, but I like happy endings.

Thanks Pat. Actually my ending was the whole point. I don’t know if you saw the BBC documentary on the subject a few days ago, its on youtube under victoria derbyshire, but the only people not interviewed and totally sidelined were the normal, natural male parents. I an sure they suffer far more than anyone in this type of case. Cheers. Anton

Absolutely no apology needed, in my not-so-humble opinion. Acceptance of people as they are REGARDLESS of gender orientation or anything else for that matter, and suicide awareness, understanding, and prevention are two causes that need more voices like yours.
If you come across any hateful comments on the original post, just remember this is your blog, your voice. And that you have a delete option at your disposal for comments, if need be.
Keep writing, keep talking for those who need to hear your voice. It just might save a life too you know.
Blessings … Marianne

A heartbreaking story, well told. You speak the unspeakable truth and I appreciate it.

Thanks. I probably care too much about people in some of the modern world’s awful situations and genuinely only want to help them, but kindly, sensibly and never from a position of prejudice or ignorance. Cheers. Anton

I personally enjoyed it and believed it was a subject that should be addressed and a great response to the prompt. Never apologize for writing how you feel.

The apology was to anyone who was physically upset by the subject because of their own experiences, but I had to write it to show how every person involved in such human tragedies must be considered when trying to help confused children faced with this problem. Thanks for your comment.
